This is a different attempt on how i integrate my building with the site and how the ribs of the building make little space for people to walk under/around and a part of the building is stretched out and folded many times to become seating and a outdoor movie theater. Since i wanted to stay true to the neighborhood i decided to shape the hotel as a box like all the other neighboring building around Red Hook Brooklyn.
you seem to be designing in a vacuum. Use the surrounding adjacent proprieties to inform your design visually as you have alluded to in prose.
