I really like how you took the data and then wrote about how you will use this data in your project. It is a great way to really analyze the spaces and how these spaces will be in your project. I think you really understand your project/program.
I have been following your project and so far it looks like you are going your way to fully understand the program and concept, trying to nail down the pros and cons of your project, which is a very important thing.
The analysis are also great. As I believe to know a lot of films and commercials are shot at the studios of Los Angeles as well as actively in Downtown Los Angeles, It will be interesting how your project can contribute to film industry in NYC.
It can have some affilitation with Made in NY. http://www.nyc.gov/html/film/html/home/home.shtml
This is the best research and presentation to date!!! Keep up this level of inquiry and analysis and you will have a great foundation from which to build a project. Make sure that the understanding of the spatial reqirements are at the forefront in spirit and do not shackle yourself to specifics as presented in "graphic standard" formats. Looking forward to seeing a better typology for the NY fabric.
